申し込んできました。次のバトルは7/24です。あと7週間あるので、新しい戦略に基づいた成果を踏まえて望めるように頑張ろう。まさかと思いますが、真夏に締め切ってクーラー無しとか言わないよな、ETS？

- TOEICは過去問を使い回すそうなので、今回出題されてちょっとでも分からなかったところをまずつぶしておく方針を採用。まともに勉強するのは一週間ぶりなので、リハビリもかねて。

- あまり時間がなかったので、最初の文章に手をつけてみた。
- 文章を読むだけであれば、想像力で補って正しく意味をつかめる。しかし、ここの単語を調べ始めると奥が深いって感じでしょうか。
- 説明はかなり詳しいが、Longmanを併用するとさらに効果的。イメージ化して頭にたたき込んで、まずは文章を読める様にすることが重要。単語だけ見て意味を浮かべられる必要は（当分）ありません。

- この形式の単語集は、時々辞書引きが延々と終わらなくなる可能性があります。
- よくできていると思ったのは、vachelorの意味を調べて、じゃあ、女性版は何というのだろうと思っていたら、ちゃんとspinsterが記載されていたあたり。

- 時間がなかったので、前書きを読むだけで終わっちゃいました。
- 基本的な構成は、文法のカテゴリ別に問題が掲載されており、30問程度の固まりを一単位として扱っている。
- 詳解されていた3-step methodは、あるブロックを
で合計三回繰り返してから、答え合わせをして、各段階での正答率をもとに実力を測れと言うことらしい。この方法の有効性はさておき、恐ろしく時間がかかるアプローチですね。
- 合計780問、26ブロックで構成されており、制限時間が一ブロックあたり30分だとすると、1日1ブロック分こなせるか微妙。すると、一冊終了に26 biz days == 5 week以上なので、ちょっと効率悪すぎ。
- この部分は無視して、自分のペースで勧めるが由かな...
そういえば
こんな書き込みを発見指摘になっていましたが、本当なんだろうか？それだけで選ぶとは思えませんが、本当に分からなかった場合の判断基準としては抑えておくべきかも。今回は無条件にBをチェックした訳ですが。

mp3 gain
Dialogue1800をmp3にしてCDROMに焼いたのはよいですが、音量調整をしていなかったのを思い出しました。英語教材をデフォルトのままmp3にすると、電車の中で聞こえない音量になっちゃうので、音量を100dbに修正しないとならないのです。
毎回焼いてから思い出すあたりが何だかな。orz
